Three Manchester United players have been nominated for the Player of the Month award for October.
Manchester United has endured a difficult campaign. During the month, they only managed to win two of their five games across all competitions. One was a match against Atalanta and the other against Tottenham Hotspur.
They drew with Rafael Benitez’s Everton before falling to Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City and then lost to Liverpool at home in a humbling setback.
There were the players who stood out the most when they were nominated for the October Player of the Month award.
Marcus Rashford, who had recently returned from a long-term injury, has scored in three of his four appearances since returning.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored two goals and gained an assist in four games, the majority of which came against Tottenham Hotspur.
Only one clean sheet has been recorded by David De Gea this month, but he has been in superb form, making key stops. Despite the fact that his defence have let him down on countless times, he continues to make good saves.
