A look at the Premier League’s top five goal scorers

After 11 games in the English Premier League, we’re beginning to see who the best players are and how well they have done so far. This list will look at the top scorers in the league and provide a brief analysis of each of them.

5. Raphina – five goals.

ten goals

Raphina is the only attacking midfielder on the list, and despite his team’s struggles, he has had a fantastic season so far. He’s done an outstanding job of replacing the goal-scoring void left by Bamford’s long-term injury.

4. Sadio Mane – six goals.

Last season, the Senegalese international was not in great goal-scoring form, but he has returned to his best form since the season began.

3. Michail Antonio – six goals.

The West Ham striker was not always a striker, but this season he has been one of the club’s finest attackers. He is a major reason why West Ham has risen to a legitimate top-four contender.

2. Jamie Vardy – seven goals.

Vardy did not reach his peak until his late 20s, and despite being in the twilight of his career, he still maintains the pace that made him so dangerous for so long.

1. Mohammed Salah – ten goals.

Salah has returned to world-class form for Liverpool, and he appears to be on track to shatter his own Premier League record for most league goals in a single season. He has already scored ten goals and will try to add to that total as often as possible, especially with the Ballon D’or awards just around the corner.
