Aaron Ramsey tests positive for COVID-19 amidst January transfer talks.

The Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey is in isolation after testing positive for Covid-19, according to his Italian club Juventus.

Ramsey’s possible return to the Premier League has sparked interest from Juventus.

Massimo Allegri recently described him as a “outgoing player,” increasing speculation that the one time Wales’ Euro 2020 and Euro 2016 star could leave Juventus before the end of January.

In Serie A, Ramsey hasn’t played since October 2021, and he hasn’t appeared in back-to-back games since March 2021.

On November 13, he made his final appearance for Wales, scoring twice in a 5-1 victory over Belarus in a 2022 World Cup qualifier.
