Allison Becker’s opening own-goal gave West Ham and headstart against Liverpool at the London Stadium on Sunday as they won 3 – 2.

Trent-Alexander Arnold equalized in the 41st minute before extra time to give the game the needed equilibrium assisted by Mohammed Salah.

However, the match got turned on its head when Pablo Fornals scored in the 67th minute. The goal was followed by Kurt Zouma’s to give the hosts a 2 goal lead in the second half. Bowen provided assists to the two goals scored by Fornals and Zouma respectively.

Divock Origi netted in the 83rd minute from Arnold’s assist hoping to complete a comeback but unfortunately, no goals from the visitors until the end of the match.

Liverpool dominated the game despite being visitors at the London Stadium but their efforts couldn’t clinch them even a point from West Ham.

This defeat has ended Liverpool’s 25-games unbeaten run. Liverpool sits 4th on the table behind West Ham, Manchester City but with Chelsea at the top of the table.
