Masuaku’s miraculous goal secures a win over the league leaders in West Ham vs Chelsea showdown.

West Ham came from behind twice to overcome Chelsea at the London Stadium thanks to a remarkable goal from Arthur Masuaku.

When Masuaku picked up the ball on the left flank, he swung a cross-cum-shot into the near post to fool Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.

A header from Mason Mount’s corner beat Lukasz Fabianski to the far corner to give the Blues the lead shortly before the half-hour mark.

When Edouard Mendy fouled Jarrod Bowen in the penalty area following an error by Jorginho, the Hammers snatched a draw. Despite making his first league appearance of the year, Manuel Lanzini was able to score from the penalty spot.

Mason Mount volleyed past Fabianksi on the stroke of half-time after Hakim Ziyech’s wonderful delivery into the box.

Bowen’s attempt from the outskirts of the area and Masuaku’s dramatic 87th-minute winner gave the hosts a slender advantage in the second half.

West Ham’s victory assures that the Hammers will remain in the top four for another week, but Chelsea might fall to third if Manchester City and Liverpool also win today.
