Nuno fired by Tottenham Hotspur after only four months on the job.
After only four months in charge of Tottenham Hotspur, Chairman Daniel Levy has decided to terminate Nuno Espirito Santos’ contract.
Spurs have dropped further down the league rankings after losing 3-0 at home to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United outfit.
It’s worth recalling that Nuno was reputedly Spurs’ fifth candidate to take over as manager after Antonio Conte and others rejected the club’s proposalsi.
According to reports, Levy would try to persuade Conte to take over management of the team after they failed to make a compelling offer to the former Inter Milan manager.
Nuno leaves Spurs after managing the club for ten league games, winning five and losing five, scoring nine goals and conceding sixteen. With 15 points, he departs the team in eighth place in the league table, 10 points behind league leaders Chelsea.
