Real Madrid beat Rayo Vallecano at the Bernabeu 2 – 1

Toni Kroos opened the scoring line for Real Madrid with an absolute stunner in the 14th minute.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side made it two when Benzema scored in the 38th minute still in the first half after David Alaba crossed the ball into the box. The goal marked his 10th in 11 LaLiga games.

The Los Blancos were at the top of their game and looked promising to have be a major contender for the title.

Rayo Vallecano’s Falcao in the 76th minute netted a goal to turn things around but it wasn’t enough.

The two sides had a total of 7 shots on target 🎯 each. Real Madrid dominated the game with 55% possession while Rayo Vallecano had 45%.

Real Madrid goes top of the table with 27 points while Real Sociedad follows closely with 25 points and Rayo Vallecano 20 points in the 6th place.
