Solskjaer will remain in charge of the club until the end of the season

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will remain as Manchester United manager until the end of the season, according to Samuel Luckhurst of the Manchester Evening News. According to MEN, a top source at the club revealed that there are currently no plans to relieve the Norwegian of his duties.

Brendan Rodgers of Leicester City was named as the best prospect to succeed Solskjaer at the end of the season. Ajax’s Eric Ten Hag and Spain’s Luis Enrique have also been mentioned as possible replacements too, according to Luckhurst.

United have a lot of work ahead of them this week. They’ll play Watford in the Premier League before traveling to Spain to face Villarreal and then returning to the Premier League to face a strong Chelsea side.

United’s defence has been abysmal under Solskjaer, and if results do not improve, they risk falling farther down the league table.
