Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is back in training
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has returned to Carrington to monitor Manchester United players’ training, according to the Manchester Evening News.
The Norwegian had allegedly been on a vacation in Norway with his family, but has now returned to Manchester.
This morning, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Anthony Martial, and Jesse Lingard were also seen arriving at training. Rashford left the England camp owing to a fitness concern, although he trained with the under-23s alongside Mason Greenwood, who was also not called up. O
Lingard, Sancho, and Martial did not receive any calls ups for their respective countries, which means the team will be able to field some fresh players against Watford on Saturday.
Scotland and England both called up Scott Mctominay and Luke Shaw, although neither of them played in any of the games. Shaw was forced to sit out due to a possible concussion, while Mctominay missed out because a throat ailment.
Solskjaer and his players have a difficult week ahead of them, and it is still uncertain whether more dismal results would lead to his dismissal.
